Q: Do I have to book?
A: Booking is recommended to avoid disappointment, however we will be accepting some walk-ins if capacity allows.

Q: Can we book a table for multiple different households?
A: We are following the guidelines in Wales, tables can be booked for up to six people from different households. 

Q: How long do I get the table for?
A: During busy periods table dwell time may be restricted to 2 hours.

Q: Do we have to provide our contact details for Track and Trace?
A: When booking, you will need to provide your name, phone number & the number in your party for track and trace for each member of the party. For walk-in tables we will ask for this information on arrival. We also need to verify your name with a form of ID such as a bank card or driving license. Should we need to contact you, we will use these details to make contact. Details will be kept for a minimum of 21 days for track & trace purposes only.

Q: What should we do when we arrive?
A: On arrival, please wait to be greeted by a team member who will show you to your table. We have hand sanitiser stations available for you to use.

Q: Are you offering a reduced menu?
A: We’ve reduced our menu to keep our kitchen teams small and prepare food safely, however you can still expect to see many of your Lovelies Delights favourites on the menu. You can view our menu here: 

Q. Are you opening hours the same?

A: Our opening hours are slightly reduced. We're open Tuesday 10am - 3pm & Wednesday - Saturday 9.30am - 3pm

Q: Are you using disposable menus and disposable condiments?
A: Yes, ugar, salt & pepper & condiments will be provided on request and are no longer set on our tables for when you arrive. Our menus will be used then placed into quarantine for a minimum of 48 hours before being reused.

Q. Can I pre-order for takeaway?
A: Yes, you can call us on 01352 757836 to book in for a take away order. Upon arrival at the shop, please only enter if there is no more than two people in the queue for the till to collect your order. Hand sanitiser is provided on arrival and by out take away collection point by the till.

Q.What about gift cards? Can I get an extension?

A: If you have a gift voucher with an expiry date of 1st March 2020 onwards, these will be extended for you until December 2021.

We just wanted to let you know about a few changes we’ve made, which we hope you’ll find reassuring in these times, so here’s a little summary.​​

Face Masks:

  • Face Masks are required when you enter, order at the till, go to the toilet & leave Lovelies Delights. While you are at your table eating & drinking, you do not need to wear a face mask. 

Social distancing:

  • Much as we could all do with a hug, please respect yours and others personal space by maintaining a social distance where possible.
  • We will be asking customers to wait at the door for a member of the team to take you to your table, and to sanitise your hands on the way into the eatery. The reason for this is so we can take the time to explain how things work and to also keep an eye on the number of people we have in the eatery at any one time. This is also the reason why we’re encouraging bookings, even just for a tea & cake at the moment.
  • You are now allowed to visit with friends & family outside of your household as long as you remain physically distant & the size of the group does not exceed six. 
  • At busy times, those without prior bookings may be asked to queue outside and as much as we’ll try our best to get everyone a table, it may not always be possible, in order to keep everyone safe.
  • Track and trace is compulsory for all eat-in customers for the Test, Trace & Protect service. We will ask for contact details from all members of your party. You are required to provide verification of name such as a driving license, bank or credit card, excluding those under 11.  You can also scan our QR code in the NHS Covid-19 app. If you do not want to provide your details, we will be unable to serve you.
  • When you're ready to order, we ask that you come to the till as usual - make sure you don't forget your mask! Please adhere to social distancing & be aware of other customers movements. Please only come to the till once the customer before you has returned to their table. 


  • We want to reassure you that there’s regular cleaning going on in the eatery; all our team will be washing their hands on a regular basis and sanitising ‘touch points’ regularly. The tables and chairs will be cleaned after each customer. At every step, we’ll be following the highest of cleaning standards throughout the eatery and in the kitchen.


  • We’ll do our upmost to keep a safe distance where possible when taking orders and serving your table.
  • You’ll notice some changes to the way we’re setting the tables. To reduce the ‘contact’ with sugars & salt and peppers, this will be provided upon request & cleaned after every use.

Space between tables:

  • We wanted to reassure you that care and consideration has gone into spacing the distance between the tables and positioning of the chairs. We also respectfully ask that you don’t move tables around; they have been positioned with thought.


  • Menus will only be used once and placed into quarantine for a minimum of 48 hours before being reused.


  • Much as they like to, please don’t let them wander. The little touches (that are often touched a lot) – may not be quite as prevalent just now, for now we have popped away our colouring sheets and crayons, we hope you understand


  • The toilet is available to use and will be regularly cleaned. We ask if someone is already using our customer toilet that you wait at your table until it is free to use
